doctor discussing mental health with patient

In May 2018, Potter County, PBHA, and Texas Tech Mental Health Institute supported the Sequential Intercept Mapping (SIM) workshop.  This was a 2-day workshop that was conducted by facilitators from Policy Research Associates, Inc. through a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).  The purpose of this workshop was to map our community resources and gaps to improve cross-system collaborations to reduce the involvement in the justice systems by people with mental and substance use disorders.  Please see below for the report, SIM map, and recommendations to improve our local cross-system collaboration.  Community organizations are encouraged to join PBHA and its stakeholders in developing community-based strategies.
